Jessica Goodwin, an art teacher at Caribou High School, played a special role in this project. She supervised the students who painted the new Io, including her daughter, Izzy Goodwin, Claire Brissette, and Willow Rancourt. Goodwin's involvement in the original Io painting in 2002 made the recent restoration a deeply personal experience, allowing her to witness the students' artistic growth and the completion of a project she helped initiate.
